The in-app gift marketplace opened in May 2025. It collects listings from other Telegram users who have put a piece up for sale. Each numbered piece has a model, a backdrop and a symbol, and every trait has its own rarity. The resale listings sit on the same screen that opens when you tap Send a Gift.

Purchase a listed collectible

1. Open the profile of the recipient and tap Send a Gift.
2. Switch to the resale listings and filter them by model, backdrop or symbol.
3. Open a listing, check the amount and confirm.

Listings are set in Telegram Stars, and some sellers accept only TON. You use Telegram Stars from your balance for the first kind and TON for the second. The recipient receives the piece once the payment goes through. Before confirming, open the attributes and look at the Value field. Since August 2025 it shows an approximate resale figure. Expanded, it adds the average sale price across the collection. A listing far above that figure is not a bargain.

A fresh acquisition can come with a waiting period: the app may set a date before which it cannot be transferred, resold or moved to the blockchain.

New limited releases can also go through auctions, a format added in November 2025: you bid Stars across several rounds, your place decides the number you receive, and bids that do not win are refunded.

Make an offer to the owner

The piece you want may not be listed at all. Since December 2025 you can open it on the owner’s profile, tap ⋯ or ⋮ and choose Offer to Buy, if the gift accepts offers. You set an amount in Stars or TON plus a deadline. The payment stays reserved until the owner answers. If they accept, the gift moves to you automatically. If they decline or the time runs out, the full amount comes back. The owner sees how your amount compares with the estimated value, so a realistic number stands a better chance.

This route is protected by Telegram, which is the main reason to prefer it over paying a stranger in private messages.

Fragment: pay in TON from your own wallet

Fragment is where collectible gifts exist as NFTs on the TON blockchain. Its gifts section listed 120 collections and about 1.37 million items when we checked on 26 September 2026. You can sort by price and filter lots that are for sale, on auction or already sold.

How a purchase works there:

1. Set up a TON wallet, for example Keeper (formerly Tonkeeper) or My Wallet (formerly MyTonWallet), and top it up with TON.
2. On Fragment, press Connect TON and Connect Telegram, so the site knows both your wallet and your account.
3. Open the lot, press Buy and approve the transaction in the wallet.
4. The purchase appears under My Assets and can be shown on your profile.

Fragment’s rules take a 5% platform charge from the seller’s proceeds on every sale. As a buyer you pay the listed amount plus the network fee of your wallet.

A note on names: since June 2026 the coin of the TON network, formerly Toncoin, has been called Gram (GRAM). Some wallets and apps still show it as TON, and this guide says TON too. It is the same coin.

TON marketplaces: Getgems, Portals, MRKT and Tonnel

Several independent markets trade the same collectible gifts. They are not run by Telegram, and each has its own rules for deposits and withdrawals.

• Getgems is a website-based NFT market on TON. You connect a wallet and pick from the gift collections listed there as regular NFT collections.
• Portals works as a trading bot inside the messenger under the name Portals Market.
• MRKT works through the @mrkt bot and trades gifts alongside other digital goods.
• Tonnel names @Tonnel_Network_bot on its channel for listing gifts and @giftrelayer for browsing them.

Asking amounts differ from market to market, because each one has its own sellers. Custody matters more: while a piece sits on a market’s balance, that market controls it. Read the withdrawal terms before you deposit, and move the piece to your own profile or wallet once the deal is done.

How to buy Telegram NFT gifts with crypto in US dollars

Are Telegram gifts real money?
